Even the Scandinavian countries are divided and well sized.Įdit: this isn't mine, I just found all this on previous threads. This page includes help on how to use the command, argument explanation and examples. The Golden Horde is pretty big, so watch out for Central Asia, they are no where near as powerful as the Mongols in 1250, or the Cumans before that, so that's nice. France is as divided as she'll ever be (without England being a continental hegemony), Spain is putting itself back together (so you don't have to worry about an overly powerful North Africa) and Byzantium is big enough to be interesting without being over powered. Bohemia, Bavaria, Poland, Hungary, none of them is singularly powerful enough to ruin your game. The late 1200's has all the usual suspects in Central Europe, but none of them are more than 4-5 provinces. With the exception of Rome in the 420's, no kingdom is unstable enough to fall apart on its own, and if you start a game with a huge empire somewhere, chances are it'll stay a huge empire forever. There aren't too many huge powers in Europe, which is important with the ET mod. I like the late 1200's, after the Mongol Empire splits. So if you can beat Brazil once, you become able to beat the coalition (which will always only consist of South American countries) and can rapidly conquer the entire continent. You have the Nationalism CB on everyone, and aggressive expansion doesn't stretch out of South America, and of course OE isn't really a thing in the modern day mod. Argentina 2014- I've played it up to 2050 so far, and it's an easy-ish but fun game, I imagine after trying Argentina that Brazil is probably one of the easiest starts in the game. Can be dicey to balance alliances with Russia, China and India around and all of them having some designs on your land, and an early coalition of -stans can destroy you too. I've left the game having established Afghanistan as the major power in Asia and able to fight off Russian aggression. Got sieged out to 100% by them and quit when they wouldn't even peace out after a year (I was a minor partner in the war).Īfghanistan 2014- I've played about 100 years of that and it was a blast. Steamrolls over everything, leaving coalitions in the dust. Soviet Union has probably about as much manpower/force limit as the rest of the world combined and isn't afraid to use them.
